Are you a person who’s obsessed with cars and had a great passion for them, right from the time you were a kid? Well, I too was the same kid growing up and I had an insatiable love towards cars and all car cultures throughout the world.
Hi! My name is Sudarsh Rajendran and I’m a former software engineer turned freelance graphic designer, illustrator and an online entrepreneur
Growing up as a kid, my love for car grew up with me. I used to spend hours of time watching, playing, discussing car races, car shows, automotive movies, car games, almost everything I could get on myself on about cars. Pretty much about the same time, I started drawing and sketching car designs because I had an interest in drawing and art in general as well. By the time I was in college, I learnt graphic designing and illustration from YouTube videos and from there I the love to portraying things from my ideas just grew. And a couple of years later I turned out to be a freelance graphic designer and illustrator.
The idea to start a car enthusiast clothing brand came almost unexpectedly to me, like one night when I was sleepless in bed with endlessly scrolling through the feeds on my phone, I came across a YouTube video that explained about a new business model called Print-on-demand that had been taking over the e-commerce industry. Curious enough, I finished the video only to find out that it had been something that I was wanting to do from a long time.
Over the next couple of days, I literally dug the internet to find out everything I could learn about this concept and how I could integrate it with my biggest interest, which was, of course, cars! After 2 weeks of creative and market research, trial designing, discussions I finally gathered up the confidence to start a clothing brand which represented every car enthusiasts’ vibe. The brand is intended to bring premium clothing wear for people who loved the Vroom of cars. And that’s how the name Vroomium was born!
